Adding Dashboard streams for public Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and NextDoor pages

If you want to monitor public pages on your Dashboard, you can use Search and Listen.

To get started, click on the pink Add to Dashboard button and select Search and Listen. You'll have options for Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram and Nextdoor. 

Facebook

To create a customized stream of Pages, click on “Page Search," and enter a Page name. The results will show Pages whose name matches your keyword search.

Select a page to add it to your column. Repeat this process to add other Pages, and click “Launch Search”. A stream loads with posts from the selected accounts.

You can filter posts by clicking the dropdown on the top right. For example, to view newest content first, select “latest.” To monitor top-performing posts, select one of the other options: Simple Engagement, Comments, Reactions, or Shares.

X/Twitter

• Keyword Search (including Advanced Search): The results will show users and tweets that match your keyword search. Twitter also has Advanced Search options - use the toggle to the right of the search bar.

You can also add public X/Twitter Lists as a stream to your Dashboard. Just paste in the X/Twitter list URL and click "Launch Search." 

Instagram

Click on “Custom Search,” enter and select the account name, and hit “Launch Search.” The results will only display Business / Professional accounts whose handle EXACTLY matches your keyword search.

Nextdoor

Stay connected to the communities where you live and work, and effectively keep track of public safety agencies, politicians and neighborhood conversations with Nextdoor and Search and Listen.
