If you want to monitor pages in your own market, keep track of agency pages, curate a custom search or view your best content within a group or property, you can use Search and Listen.
To launch Search and Listen for Facebook, click the pink Add to Dashboard button > Search and Listen, and select from the following Facebook options:
- Publishers by DMA: Database with media publishers from all 210 DMAs (Nielsen Designated Market Areas) in the US.
- Select a DMA from the dropdown. You can follow all pages that automatically populate in the list, or specify the ones to add to your stream. Launch search. When your stream loads, you can sort it by the latest posts, simple engagement, comments, reactions or shares.
- First Responders: Database with law enforcement and fire departments from every state in the US.
- Select a state, territory or province from the dropdown. You can follow all pages that automatically populate in the list, or specify the ones to add to your stream. Launch search. When your stream loads, you can sort it by the latest posts, simple engagement, comments, reactions or shares.
- Page Search: Curate lists of pages you're interested in that can be sorted by time or by performance.
- Enter in a page name. The results will show pages whose name matches your keyword search. Select your page(s) and launch your search. When your stream loads, you can sort it by the latest posts, simple engagement, comments, reactions or shares.
- Group Lists: This can include all Facebook accounts onboarded to Social News Desk across your entire group, or a selection of these accounts. These lists can be sorted by performance thresholds. NOTE: You must be a Manager or Group Admin user to create Group Lists. However, any user can open a Group List.
- Select the Group Lists button which will populate the available lists. Select which list you'd like to see top content from. A stream is then loaded onto your Dashboard, showing you content from the accounts that were selected when setting up the list.
- To manage any stream that you've added from Search and Listen to your Dashboard, click on the 3-dot menu in the top right corner. From here you'll be able to review the stream's setup, rename it or remove the stream from your Dashboard.
