Learn more about the post message field options on Autopilot feeds

SND Autopilot feeds allow you to customize how you want content to be selected and displayed on social.

One option allows you to select the metadata for Autopilot to use for the Post Text when a post is published. This field is called the "Source Field for the Post Message" and is found within the feed settings:

Here's a rundown of what each option means:

• RSS Title: Pulls from the RSS feed.
• RSS Description: Pulls from the RSS feed.
• og:title (Open Graph Tag): Pulls from metadata of the story itself. The "og: title" is typically recommended for use in automated tweets.
• og:description (Open Graph Tag): Pulls from metadata of the story itself. The "og: description" is typically recommended for use in automated Facebook posts.
• meta:Facebook Share Message: Pulls from a CMS using this meta tag.
• meta: Twitter Share Message: Pulls from a CMS using this meta tag.

Note that there is no Post Message option for Social Account Feeds since it will use the post's original message.
