How to post a Reel to Facebook

You can post, or schedule, Facebook Reels (along with Instagram Reels) right from your SND Dashboard!

Click the Create a Post button to open the Post Composer.

Click on the dropdown at the top to select a Facebook account(s).

Click the "Browse Files" button or drag and drop your media onto the post composer. (What file types are supported?)

Click the check box next to “Publish as a Reel.”

*** For Facebook Reels specifically, its resolution must be at least 540 x 960 pixels and have an aspect ratio of 9:16. Meta also strongly recommends using vertical video for Reels. *** 

You can also add an Instagram account to the post after crafting the Facebook portion. That way, your Reel can go out to both platforms at once!

Add your post text (can include mentions, hashtags, and emojis 😉)

Once your media has successfully uploaded, you can click the blue Post Now button or schedule for later.
