How to create an Automated Slot or Automated Block

Get started by clicking on the Autopilot tab of SND Planner. From the schedule at the top, select the day of the week you'd like to add an Automated Slot or Block, and click into a time slot. 

Next, select your automation type. Choose between Automated Slot (post once at a specific time, using one or more feeds and rules) or Automated Block (post every X minutes, during a defined time block, using one or more feeds and rules). You also have an option to add a Manual Slot Placeholder that will hold that spot for a manually scheduled post.

Automated Slot 

When creating your Automated Slot, select the time (it should automatically default to the time slot you initially chose), add a buffer if needed and select your source feeds. You also have the option to make this specific time slot recurring throughout the week. 

Automated Block 

When creating your Automated Block, select your start and end time, the frequency for how often you'd like content to be posted (or let SND's AI decide) and select your source feeds. 

You also have the option to make this Block recurring and copy it throughout the week. Choose "Make slot recurring" and select the days of the week the Block should recur, decide whether you wish to override any existing Autopilot schedules that may conflict, then save your changes.
