There are three different feed types available in SND Planner, that can be used in either an Automated Slot or Block, or in an Autopilot Slot or Block.
Website Feeds
Website feeds are commonly used to publish content automatically. Content can be pulled from an RSS.
The basic RSS feed settings are:
Feed Nickname: The name of the RSS feed as it will appear in your feed list and Autopilot Slots and Blocks.
Attach an RSS Feed: The link for the RSS feed you wish to use.
Choose a Source Field for the Post Message: The metadata that you want Autopilot to use for the Post Text when a post is published.
Min Content Age: How long the content must be published to the RSS feed before it's eligible for Autopilot to post. This is determined by the timestamp in the RSS feed.
Max Content Age: The age at which the content will no longer be eligible for Autopilot to post. This is determined by the timestamp in the RSS feed.
How do you want to pull content from the Feed: Newest content first, oldest content first, or Highest Ranked by Google Analytics to prioritize content.
There are also a couple of advanced options.
Social Account Feed
Social account feeds are a great way to recirculate content that has been previously published, whether it's to highlight high-performing content, to resurface big stories over the weekend, or publish content in the morning from the night before. This can also be a longer-term way to republish evergreen or holiday content.
There are two different ways to use the Social Account Feed. You can choose to repost overperforming content from another social account, or you can use the Social Account Feed to recirculate content using post metatags.
Feed Nickname: The name of the Social Account Feed as it will appear in your feed list and Autopilot Slots and Blocks.
Repost From Which Account?: The default social account is the Planner account you're working in, but you can select a different social account from the dropdown.
Min Content Age: How long the content must be published before it's eligible for Autopilot to post.
Max Content Age: The age at which the content will no longer be eligible for Autopilot to post.
Which posts would you like to repost?: Select from 2x, 4x, or 10x Average Clicks or 2x, 4x, or 10x Average Engagement. You can also repost "All" content by highest clicks or engagement.
Only Include Posts With These Tag(s) (optional): Click here to learn more about Social Account Feeds recirculation using metatags.
There are also a couple of advanced options.
Manual Feed
A manual feed allows you to hand-pick content that you want to go out, but the exact time is less important. Content can be dragged and dropped into the Manual Feed from anywhere on your Dashboard, such as RSS feeds or other social media accounts.
Feed Nickname: The name of the feed as it will appear in your feed list and Autopilot Slots and Blocks.
Choose a Source Field for the Post Message: The metadata that you want Autopilot to use for the Post Text when a post is published.
