To set up your Autopilot configuration, open the SND Planner for the selected account and click on the Autopilot tab at the top.
If you haven't already, create content feeds for the account. Click "Create Feed" to get started, and select the feed type you wish to create.
- Website Feeds use an RSS feed URL as a the content source.
- With Social Account Feeds you can choose to repost overperforming content, or you can use the Social Account Feed to recirculate content using post metatags.
- Manual Feeds allow you to manually select content to add to the feed. More on feeds here.
Once you've created a content feed, you can set up Automated Slots and Blocks.
Click on a time to start creating a Slot or Block.
Select a Slot for a one-time post at a certain time of day, or a Block to set up a longer period of time that will publish content on an interval that you choose. Manual Slot Placeholders can also be included to account for posts from other sources.
For a Slot, the time you clicked will automatically be selected (you can edit if you wish). For a Block, the time you clicked will be set as the Start Time, and you can enter an end time and publishing frequency.
Select the source feeds that you wish to populate content during that time. You can order the feeds by Priority, which will exhaust content from the top priority feed before moving on to the next feed, or by Date, which will prioritize newer content first, regardless of which feed it comes from.
To repeat the same Slot or Block on other days of the week, click "Make slot recurring" and select the other days. The Slot or Block will be copied to the other weekdays.
Repeat the process of setting up Automated Slots and Blocks. When your schedule is set up, click the 3-dot menu at the top right of Planner to open the Autopilot Settings, and set Autopilot to "Live" for the selected social account.
