During your template set-up you can set your playlist rotation speed to either 4.5 seconds or 8.5 seconds. You can also control the playlist rotation manually and it's really easy to do!
If you want your Playlist to automatically start rotating, you can click on the "Play" button, located in the bar under your "On Air" monitor screen when you have a Channel open. It will rotate at the speed you selected for that template.
To manually advance the playlist, use the "Next Step" button (which looks like a fast forward button) on your control computer. This button is located in the bar under your "ON AIR" monitor screen in the "GO LIVE" tab.
You can also manually advance backwards by clicking on the "Previous Step" button (which looks like a rewind button). Note: there is no animation when clicking this button.
If you have a touchscreen (or tablet) that talent is interacting with on set to control the playlist, they can manually control when content moves as well.
Stacked Post Layout Interaction
It's best to use the "Next Step" button if you want to keep the rotation moving faster. But remember, you need to give your audience time to read.
If talent is interacting with the stacked playlist, you can do the following:
- Tap outside of the three stacked posts to rotate the Playlist
- Tap on one of the three posts on screen to open it larger. This is pause the playlist from rotating.
- If you'd like it to keep rotating, you can do so by using the "Next Step" button or by tapping outside of the three stacked posts area. The stacked posts will rotate, but the large post will remain there until the talent taps on it (in the three stacked area) to make it go away, or taps on a new piece of content from the stacked playlist.
