SND's detailed permissions allow Team Admins to assign specific levels of access to users for each social media account connected to the Dashboard.
The following permissions can be added to a user for each social account they are assigned:
- Publish - Post and schedule social media content to the assigned account. Approvers must have this permission in order to approve social media posts submitted through the approvals workflow, and writers who do not have approver access will need to have this permission in order to draft social media posts and submit them for approval.
- Comment - Add comments to social media posts as the publishing page or account, where it’s supported in SND.
- Delete - Delete posts or comments for social media accounts, where it’s supported in SND.
- Moderate - Hide comments or ban users, where it’s supported in SND.
- Messaging - Send direct messages as the publishing page or account, where it’s supported in SND.
- Data - Users with this permission are allowed to access this account to see detailed metrics in SND’s Reporting tools, including Post Manager and Report views.
- View - This is the most basic level of access. Users can view a stream of the social account on their Dashboard. Users can have View-only access with no other permissions checked. Users with another permission selected will also be required to have View access to the account.
For users who only need Search and Listen access, we recommend giving them only View access to the social accounts they interact with most.
For users who only need On Air access, we recommend giving them only View access to the social accounts they interact with the most, as well as access to the On Air feature.
For users who only need access to data and reporting, we recommend giving them Data and View access to the social accounts for which they need to view detailed metrics.
