To create a new post, click the Create a Post button to open the Post Composer. To open a new post tab inside the Post Composer, click the + button. Be sure to always start a new post from scratch. If you need to clear a post that you no longer want to work on, click the X on the post tab you want to close.
Select the social accounts you would like to post to from the dropdown at the top of the Post Composer. You can select accounts one by one, or check the box next to the Favorites or Groups you have created. To learn how to add accounts to your Favorites or to a group, click here.
Under the “All” tab, type your post text in the text field.
If you wish to add media, click the “Add Media” button below your post text to add a Photo or Video.
For a Link post, paste the URL for your story in the Link field, then click Add Link. Your link will populate with information from your website. If you wish to customize the link with a different thumbnail, title or summary text, you may do so by clicking on the pencil icon on the link preview.
Be sure your domain is verified if you wish to make changes to your Facebook posts. To learn more about domain verification, click here.
For a Photo or Video post, you can drag and drop your image or video onto your post, click “Add Media” to select your media file, or use the down arrow next to the “Add Media” button to select a previously uploaded file from your SND media library.
SND Tagging, located at the bottom of the “All” tab in Post Composer, allows you to tag posts by category, subject, or post type.
Once you’ve added your post text and a link or media files to your post under the “All” tab, you can use the tabs at the top to customize your post for each social media platform. You’ll see additional post options under each tab for the different social media platforms.
Under the Facebook post tab there is an option for Scheduled Interactions, which allows you to schedule a comment as your Page to encourage commenting and schedule shares to other Facebook Pages. You can also choose to publish your video posts to Reels.
Under the Instagram tab, you can add a link to your Newsim.bio page, tag additional users or use IG Collabs to tag up to three collaborators. You can also choose to publish your video to your Feed, Stories or both!
Threads
Under the Threads tab, you can use our “Reply Control” tool to set who can leave replies on your post.
TikTok
Under the TikTok tab, you’ll see additional post options to allow comments, stitch and duets, as well as a way to set your post’s privacy level.
YouTube
Under the YouTube tab, you can upload a custom thumbnail for your video, set its privacy status and give your video a title.
Once you're satisfied with your post, you can either schedule your post for later by clicking the gray clock icon then clicking "Schedule now" or click Post Now.
You will see a confirmation that your post was sent or scheduled successfully.
