This SND Dashboard feature allows you to get conversations started and keep driving meaningful social interactions on Facebook. You can schedule both comments and shares to post automatically after a certain period of time. It’s a great way to ask a follow-up question or add additional information to a story and to even self-promote and drive reach.
Creating a Scheduled Interaction in Post Composer
Click on the Scheduled Interactions button under Additional options.
Click on the Comment and/or Share button to start creating your scheduled interaction. You can add multiple comments to keep the conversation going.
COMMENT: Click the Add button, type your comment, choose your timing, then click the first Save button to save the comment. Click the second Save button to add it to the schedule.
Note: You can delay the timing or schedule the timing. Toggle the two by clicking the dropdown arrow.
SHARE: Click the Add button then on the dropdown to select the Facebook Pages you want to share the post. Write and optional comment and choose your timing. Click the first Save button to save the scheduled share. Click the second Save button to add it to the schedule.
You will find your scheduled interactions under the "Scheduled Interactions" button. You can delete a scheduled interaction by clicking on the X icon and then clicking save.
Once the post goes out, the timer starts ticking for the delay on any comments and shares you’ve scheduled. You’ll see the interactions happen without lifting a finger!
Creating a Scheduled Interaction from the Timeline
To schedule a share or comment on a post that has already been published, open the Timeline for the Facebook Page using the "Add to Dashboard" button on the left rail. Note: you must have access to the page as a Publisher in order to initiate a scheduled interaction.
Click the three-dot menu on the post, then click Scheduled Interactions.
Enter the information for your scheduled share or comment, then click Add Share or Add Comment.
You will then see your scheduled interactions saved in the list.
