Quick Posts allow you to write as much or as little of a pre-produced post or tweet and then use that template to publish content later. Often people use Quick Posts to format breaking news or sports score templates. It takes some of the work out of publishing urgent and/or frequent updates.
Here's how you do it:
Open the “Create a Post” window and select the accounts you want saved as part of your Quick Post (or don't if you want just the text saved).
Write as much of the post as you can. Obviously there will be bits of information that you can't fill in until you're ready to post. If any of that missing information is text, you can drop in some dummy text to fill the space.
(Optional) Attach any links, videos or images that you want to go out with the post.
Click the Publishing Options menu from the bottom left and select "Quick Post". Finally, click "Save as Quick Post:"
Name the template and choose whether you want to save this quick post for your own use, or make it available to everyone (or other properties you may have access to).
To access your saved Quick Posts, click on the down arrow next to the "+" tab (where you can add additional post tabs) at the top left of the Post Composer:
To rename or delete the quick post, click the three dot menu to the right of the post.
If you wish to make changes to a quick post, simply open the quick post template, make the changes you wish and save it as a new quick post. Then, delete the old version.
