How to Use the Social Summary Report
The Social Summary Report is a powerful way to visualize your social media performance across platforms. This guide walks you through how to create, customize, share, and export the report.
Creating a Social Summary Report

Click
+ New View
. -
Select
Social Summary
from the list of available reports. -
Choose your desired summary type — or select Custom Social Summary to build your own. (Note: All report types are customizable.)

Name your report and set its visibility:

Only Me – private to you

Everyone – visible to others in your organization

The report will open in Edit mode.
Customizing the report
Use the filter bar at the top to fine-tune your data:

Post Time – select the date range

Posted by – filter by user

Social Media Accounts – choose specific accounts

Post Type – filter by media type (image, video, etc.)

Post Content – filter using keywords, metatags, URLs, or partial URLs
Adding and Editing Widgets

Add a widget: Click the + icon between existing widgets.

Remove a widget: Click the trash can icon at the top-right of the widget.

Reorder widgets: Drag and drop them into your preferred layout.

Customize widgets: If available, click the gear icon on a widget to choose different metrics or layouts.
When you're done, click Save at the top of the screen. Need to make changes later? Just click the Edit button at the top right of the report. Don’t forget to save any updates.
Available Widget Types
Here are the widget types you can add to your Social Summary Report:

Summary: Shows total metrics like Followers, Posts, Clicks, Video Views, Impressions, and Engagement across selected accounts.

Summary Metric Cards: Displays summary metrics for each social network.

Line Chart by Social Network: Tracks changes over time for a single metric, broken down by social network.

Comparison Line Chart: Compares two summary metrics side by side (not broken out by platform).

Hourly Heatmap: Highlights top and bottom performance hours for a selected metric across the week.

Comprehensive Metric Cards: Shows all available metrics per network.
Renaming or Updating the Report Description

Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on your report tab.

Select Edit.

Change the name or description as needed.

Click Save.
Sharing the Report

Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on your report tab.

Choose Copy Share URL.
-
Share the link with your team or stakeholders.
⚠️ Note: The Social Summary Report does not currently support automated email delivery.
Exporting the Report as a PDF

Click the Print button at the top right of the report.

Choose Print to PDF.
-
Save the file to your computer.
