For most users, controlling the playlist will be a manual operation.
If you want to push play and let the playlist run, you can set the auto-rotate speed in Template Settings under the Layout > Animations section. Here, you can select 4.5 seconds or 8.5 seconds. If you plan to manually control, it's best to set this to 8.5 seconds when building your template.
